The regional government has approved a proposal of the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, a grant of 310,134 euros to the city of Murcia to develop a second phase of regeneration and urban renewal in the neighborhood of Los Rosales of the Murcian hamlet of El Palmar.
Its purpose is to expand to 259 the number of housing rehabilitation project object regeneration neighborhood of Los Rosales, in a first phase where 379 homes were conditioned, which will take part in a total of 638 homes.
The overall amount of the project is 3,160,669 euros.
The homes are part of an Area Regeneration and Urban Renewal (ARRU), bounded by the city of Murcia and included in the State Plan for Development of rental housing, the edificatoria rehabilitation and regeneration and urban renewal 2013-2016.
The aim of this action is to solve the poor construction conditions in buildings and urban spaces in this neighborhood, associated with situations of social exclusion, which require integrated action for a substantial change occurs in the lives of their neighbors.
In addition to the renovation of housing, we will act in the urban environment of that neighborhood.
