The PSOE requires the government Ballesta to respect the work of the representatives of the municipal boards and leave the political disloyalty (20/09/2016)

Councilman Municipal Socialist Group, Enrique Ayuso, announced Tuesday the presentation, the forthcoming municipal plenary, on a motion to ensure that, going forward, the council of government duly inform the members of municipal boards about your visits officers to neighborhoods and districts.

As explained Ayuso, the case is repeatedly visits by members of government Ballesta neighborhoods and districts, in the exercise of his office, unannounced representatives of municipal boards and without their presence.

"Political loyalty is key to the proper functioning of our institutions, especially in a town very scattered and organized in a decentralized manner. The information between City Hall and joints must be constant, especially when these visits are related works or improvements that obviously the closest of citizens, the headman and vocal, representatives should be aware. "

For this reason, the initiative that the Municipal Socialist Group will defend in the next municipal plenary, will include the mandatory government councilors duly inform the municipal boards on the activities taking place in their areas.

"Ultimately what we want to stop is the unfairness of the council of government to municipal boards, especially to those in which no governs the PP. It is unacceptable that mayors headman and vocal learn of the visit of a councilman to his neighborhood or district through the press. "

Enrique Ayuso has also recalled that "the presidents of the municipal boards do not charge for their work, despite the hours they invest in managing their neighborhoods and districts. They receive, however, compensation for costs arising of its work. so much comes the little respect that the government Ballesta has by mayors and pedáneos mayors and their selfless work, which, in addition to not share information with them, also delayed the payment of these expenses are forced to take out of your pocket. "

In this regard, the Socialist councilor explained that the village headman have taken in September compensation expenses of July, and has called on the PP government to "respect the work of a person who dedicate time, effort and money to improve the lives of their neighbors. "

"It is time that the PP government recognizes the selfless work of the representatives of the municipal boards and act with respect, by providing all the necessary tools to perform its function."

In this sense, the PSOE mayor has also announced that the Socialist Group will require the need for municipal boards receive the administrative support they need to be included in the reformulation of the Rules of Participation.

"When the village headman and other board members are difficulties in carrying out works and actions needed, when it is subject to delays and administrative barriers, when they are ignored by councilors who visit their areas and when, moreover, they are not returned in time the money they are spending out of pocket, we find totally unacceptable treatment by the government Ballesta, which we demand loyalty to each and every one of the board members and respect for the selfless work carried out ", he concluded.
