The process to rehabilitate Halls 1 and 2 Artillery Barracks is underway and the intention of the City Council is start work next year.
While the necessary project for complete recovery is drawn up and intervention is evaluated, the building number 2, located between the sports complex River Segura library and maintains an almost daily activity, hosting workshops and coordinated by the Municipal Center activities Puertas de Castilla .
Thus, within a few months they will begin the works and return this city space for public use, as it has so happened with the rest of the complex, which now has become a place of reference cultural and educational activity of the city.
Moreover, the City Council is working intensively on the conservation of cultural heritage of the municipality.
Right now is start the rehabilitation of the facade of the Palace Almudí and approved a protocol to retrieve different sections of the wall, among other measures.
