Ends sleep Rio 16 for UCAM Paralympics with nine medals (18/09/2016)

Finalized the Paralympic Games Rio 16 with a positive balance for the Spanish sports and particularly for athletes at the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) who have achieved a total of nine medals.

In table tennis, José Manuel Ruiz could not fight for medals in individual table but won the team silver with his teammates Jorge Cardona and Juan Bautista Perez.

In the velodrome, Alfonso Cabello managed two bronzes in the time trials in 1,000 meters and speed mixed teams.

Which could not miss its date with the medals was the thrower David Casinos, which achieved four gold medals in Sydney, Athens, Beijing and London sum is now a bronze to complete a history available to very few athletes.
