Teresa Perales, Paralympic champion 50 back (17/09/2016)

The Spanish swimmer of the UCAM met forecasts and won with the final authority in adding its twenty-fifth Paralympic medal (third in Rio 16)

Teresa Perales continues to make history at the Paralympics.

The UCAM zaragozana swimmer won the gold medal in the final of the 50 backstroke S5 asserting its status as favorite and imposing itself clearly to the Czech Bela Trebinova (silver) and Norway's Sarah Louise Rung (bronze).

This gold is added to the two silvers won by Perales in Rio 16 which accumulates twenty five Paralympic medals under his belt since Sydney 2000.

The day was very positive also for UCAM another athlete, the athlete Descarrega Gerard, who qualified for the final of 400 meters T1 to be held on Saturday night.

For Teresa Perales is a last option medal in the 100 meter freestyle.

Another colored metal UCAM is for José Manuel Ruiz, who is in the final of table tennis men's doubles table and with the aim of achieving gold and crowned Paralympic champion.
