The City Council extends the Language Club the districts of La Alberca, El Esparragal, Espinardo and Alquerías (14/09/2016)

It is a reality that the villages of La Alberca, El Esparragal, Espinardo and Alquerías who had no Language Club Junior, will have it for this next year, and has explained the Councillor for Youth and Development Cooperation, Rebeca Perez .

Junior Language Club, aimed at young people between 12 and 17 years and has a total of 16 groups and 320 seats, 80 more than the previous year.

In this way, students "can learn other languages ​​through activities that allow oral expression and encourage the initiative of young people and their individual and group participation," said Perez.

Besides being present for the first time in these four districts, the Language Club Junior takes place in different places of the municipality of Murcia, including El Palmar, Beniaján, Bacons Bridge, Santa Maria de Gracia and Barrio del Carmen, where they collaborate volunteers European and specialized monitors.

In total, will participate in this free program, "320 young people from 12 to 17 years and activities are offered in three languages: English, French and German," said the head of Youth.

The learning method is through cultural and leisure activities fun in other languages ​​where young people awaken and foster their creativity in a nice way and effective.

The activities are designed to motivate young people and eliminate stress and fears when expressed in a deferential language, in order to boost confidence.

All of them have had prior preparation by the team of monitors and the active participation of young people, who have also been involved in pre-development of dynamic activities.

There is also a team of monitors that is responsible for planning activities, adapting them to each level of language and always with the aim of improving the linguistic aspect, but without forgetting the improving social skills and encourage cooperation.

The games and activities are diverse and varied to perform tasks related to music, theater, dance, cinema, environment and sport activities.

"This is complementary activities outside the normal space where meet regularly and develop in the chosen language in the Club, as dramatized visits, Europe Day Celebration, etc," he pointed Perez.

Also going to implement, as a novelty, activities Microteatro, an educational, playful, transversal and multidisciplinary proposal that part of the immersion of a whole group in a theater project language designed specifically for the young participants Club Languages.

It is based on the realization of short skits, created by the participants themselves and represented by themselves.

16 groups participated Language Club and will be held to throughout the course.

"It's a way to guarantee access to learning different languages ​​for all young people, especially for those with limited economic resources," said Perez.

The groups are made up of 20 young people, have a monitor and European volunteers.
