The Board of Governors has approved, through the Department of Sports and Health, who heads Felipe Coello, the call for grants to non-profit entities to carry out activities during the 2015/2016 season.
The total amount is 100,000 euros to develop sports activities of various clubs, associations and federations.
The purpose of this initiative is to meet the demand of the population in sport and promote sports in general, as well as cooperation with other entities.
Specifically the grant for clubs and sports associations has been granted for the development of sports initiation programs (Schools Sports), equipment maintenance in federated competitions and organization of sporting events or sports activities developed special relevance in the municipality of Murcia.
Meanwhile, federations organize sporting events or activities of special relevance in Murcia.
Grant applications will be presented in the following the publication of the annual Call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia 20 calendar days.
