The president of Development Bank of the Colombian Government (Findeter), Luis Fernando Arboleda, led the delegation which also was attended by mayors and secretaries of Planning responsible for the areas of planning and territorial development, which showed their interest in the export potential Murcia, as the Huerta of Europe, as well as the environmental recovery of the Segura river and the Plan of Action of the Huerta as agricultural development environment unique in Europe.
"In Murcia the intelligent management of water recuros has over 2,000 years of history, thanks to the system of canals and piping components that contruyeron Arabs around the Valle del Segura.
Our irrigation network is the oldest in Spain and a benchmark in savings and water efficiency, "said the mayor.
"The intelligent management of energy, water and agricultural production are the three challenges of the cities of tomorrow.
