Development made 135 improvements in lighting in 52 districts (29/06/2016)

The Department of Public Works, directed Roque Ortiz, will develop in the coming months a plan for improving street lighting in a total of 52 districts.

In total and as expected they will run 135 performances in light of new roads and highways, renewal of obsolete lighting, lighting reinforcement gardens and pedestrian areas, cable replacement stolen and implementation of energy saving systems.

Thus, the council will install 799 new items and replace obsolete 425 points, the vast majority of LED technology.

These 425 points to be renewed represent an increase of 47.9 kw electric power of 51.5 kW, a reduction in CO2 emissions of 73 tons per year and annual cost savings of 10,700 euros.

The highlights on which will improve public lighting are:

- Lighting Alicante Road, passing by El Esparragal, installing 23 new points.

- Improved lighting industrial and leisure area of ​​Isla Cristina street, Ceuta and Molino Nelva belonging to Bacons Bridge.

- Lighting access to Pool from the South Coast by Rail Villa

- Lighting of hits on Lobosillo from the RM-2 motorway.

- Access Lighting Guadeloupe from the service road of the A-30

- Lighting of hits on Boatmen from Fuente Librilla.

- Lighting Corvera hits from La Murta

- Lighting of hits on El Esparragal from the A-7 along the Way of the Garroferos

- Lighting hits from Javalí Viejo Javalí Nuevo

- Lighting Monteagudo hits the Vereda de la Cueva

- Lighting Sangonera la Seca hits the Way of the soldiers.

- Public in various rural communities, as Spot The Quero (Glens San Pedro), Cabecico King (Valladolises) and Caserío Los Roses Los Jeronimos (Jerome and Avileses) or place the Castillete de Gea and Truyols lighting.

The latter is to install a solar lamp.

- Deleting points on wooden posts in Alquerías and El Raal.

- Replacement of 26 points of light globe type, and thus producing light pollution Aljucer.

- Replacement of 66 luminaries underperforming in pedestrian areas Rectors in El Puntal.

- Improved lighting and implementation of energy saving system in Olite Castle Garden of St. Pius X.

- Replacement of wire stolen Patiño and El Puntal.

The total investment of 135 facilities amounting to 1,665,000 euros.

The districts in which they will invest public lighting are the Albatalía, La Alberca, Algezares, Aljucer, Stables, Arboleja, Bathrooms and Beggar, Boatmen, Beniaján, Cabezo de Torres, Glens of San Pedro, Casillas, Cobatillas, Churra, Corvera, Los Dolores, El Palmar, El Esparragal, Espinardo, Los Garres, Gea and Truyols, Guadalupe, Javalí Viejo, Jerome and Avileses, Llano de Brujas, Lobosillo, Los Martínez del Puerto, Monteagudo, La Murta, La Ñora, Nonduermas Patino, Bacons Bridge, Puebla de Soto, El Puntal, El Raal, Los Ramos, La Raya, Beniscornia corner, San Gines, St. Pius X, San Jose de la Vega, Sangonera la Seca Sangonera la Verde, Santa Cruz Santiago El Mayor, Santo Angel, Sucina, Torreagüera, Valladolises, Zarandona and Zeneta.
