The socialist councilor Maite Espinosa, along with the mayor of Citizens, Paqui Pérez, held Wednesday a working meeting with the area manager of Iberdrola, César Calomarde, and the Councillor for Public Works, Roque Ortiz, in order to meet the situation in which there are different works to improve the conditioning of the lines in the municipality of Murcia.
The meeting was attended by municipal and electricity company technicians.
Specifically, both councilors were interested in the implementation of the electrical substation Patino, expected to be fully operational in March next year.
The works of this substation are affecting the hamlet of El Palmar because the work being carried out trenching and streets- cuts are causing unease among neighbors.
Predictably, the commitment by Iberdrola and Development is to be completed this August.
Moreover, and in relation to the works of excavation of the current airline that crosses El Palmar it is expected that these will be completed next December.
