The Municipal Socialist Group spokesman, Jose Ignacio Gras, today expressed outrage at the vandalism that has been vocal group of citizens in the Municipal Board of Nonduermas.
It has also expressed support and solidarity of the Socialist Group with this voice, as well as the municipal group Citizens Murcia after damage suffered in the last hours in a vehicle belonging to which have been plucked the two mirrors.
According to Gras, "everything indicates that this is an intolerable aggression must repudiate so noonday" because it seems that is related to the vote on the censure motion on June 2 and that was the cessation of the previous headman of the Popular Party and the appointment of the new headman Socialist Party with the support of a member of Citizens.
For the PSOE it is important that all democrats, of any political group, what happened reject and denounce this violent act.
For this reason, "the Socialist Group also ask the Popular Party of Murcia condemn this aggression and to do so also, expressly, the PP Nonduermas".
For socialists, we must be exemplary when attempting to coerce democracy, "and therefore I believe it is essential to have a clear and strong statement from the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, because all the members of the municipal boards representing the residents and Murcia neighbors, elected democratically and therefore are also representatives of the Corporation ".
Finally, the Socialist Group recalled that already denounced last February placing some intimidatory banners against the holding of the plenary to discuss the censure motion in Nonduermas, and even then asked the mayor Ballesta the resignation of its then headman, being one of the banners hanging in his family home.
Also as a result of these banners put on a complaint with the Commissioner of the National Police.
