The Teatro Vico excited with the release of 'Jesus of Nazareth' (12/03/2016)

Friday emotions were skin-deep in Jumilla, where it premiered at last one of the most anticipated works in the altiplano region of Murcia.

A composition that has taken decades to come to light.

The music that once began composing Julian Santos, and was completed by his pupil, the great composer Roque Baños, was heard at the Teatro Vico.

Borja Quintas was commissioned to lead the Symphony Orchestra and Choir Discantus UCAM, who created a magical aura through music coming to excite the public.

The nearly 200 artists who were part of 'Jesus of Nazareth' were responsible for giving life to the script written by Alfredo Santos under instructions from Diego Carvajal, who returned to get a spectacular staging as March 5 he did in Victor Villegas Auditorium of Murcia.

The performances were flawless giving realism every word and gesture, highlighting the performances of the baritones Francisco Garcia (Jesus) and José Miguel Baena (Judas Iscariot), tenor Angel Piñero (John the Baptist), soprano Ruth Teran (Mary Magdalene ) and the dancer Mireia Gracia Gonzálvez (Salome).

A Vico booked solid Theatre, where tickets were sold out weeks before the premiere, cheered for 20 minutes the entire cast of professionals who made possible the performance of 'Jesus of Nazareth'.

Tonight will go up to the stage actors, musicians and directors to represent the last time the sacred drama this year.

Although it is expected that the "Untold greatest work" was brought to Madrid next season, so that all those who have not yet been able to enjoy.
