The Mayor has visited this afternoon the new decorated with motifs related to the Huerta on an outside wall of the hotel Nelva in the mural displayed as highlights, a portrait of 'The Repuntín' and Uncle Pencho

The Mayor, José Ballesta, and the Councillor for Public Works, Roque Ortiz, visited this afternoon the new mural decorated with motifs related to the Huerta on an outside wall of the hotel Nelva.

The event has been accompanied by the family of José Travel 'The Repuntín' and Manuel Sanchez Baena (MAN), creator of Uncle Pencho, because as important elements in the mural portrait of the troubadour Bacons Bridge and the protagonist appear comic strip daily newspaper La Verdad.

Five graffiti artists, experts in different techniques as calligraphy or portrait, have worked throughout the weekend in the decoration of this wall 24 meters long and 2.50 meters high, made on the occasion of the First Week Orchard Murcia and in collaboration with Ferrovial.

In total 200 boats have used spray and 45 kilograms of plastic paint with a wide range of typical landscapes of the garden of Murcia hues.

This action is part of the project '12 months 12 walls' by which graffiti is held in a large wall designs month with different themes.

The first took place in January was related to the sport on the back of the auditorium stage Fofó Park.

The Mayor has used the event to announce that the Municipal Office of Graffiti, a pioneering initiative in Spain, and has a quick and agile way for any citizen who so wishes can send any question, idea, or report any graffiti.
