The Board of Governors approved this morning the sheets to hire the services organization Youth Summer Camps 2016 and Linguistic stays in the British Isles 2016.
The City will invest in these contracts a maximum price of 260,700 euros, 150,700 € to 110,000 € for stays and camps.
The selected companies will organize four camps 50 seats each, aimed at young people between 12 and 15 years, two for the first half of July and two for the second half, one of them multi-adventure.
The camp multiadventure has a concrete program of activities including the discovery of the environment and shall contain a minimum of five adventure activities such as rafting, canyoning, canoeing, hiking, climbing, caving, horseback riding or mountain biking, and three English, which own program activities and outdoor nature, always adapted to the age of participants, as well as sports and creative workshops, with a minimum of 30 hours of English learning content will be made.
On the other hand, 2 language stays in the British Isles, a turn in July and another in August, aimed at young people between 15 and 25 years, with a duration of 3 weeks each will be organized.
These rooms include a course with a minimum of 45 hours of lessons, which will be delivered academic certificate of participation, accommodation and full board in British families, in order to promote greater linguistic immersion and a program of extra-teaching, such as excursions , visits to museums and attractions, etc.
