Approved the general budget for the financial year 2016. The Municipal House has rejected the claim made by a citizen against the initial approval with votes in favor of Municipal People's Party, Socialist Municipal Group's change now Murcia and Murcia and against citizens, thanks to which they can enter into force once these budgets are published in the BORM.
This economic plan was intended for Murcia to grow and build a future of opportunities that will allow the city forward.
So, it contemplates substantial investments demanded by citizens.
The budget for next year 2016 amounted to 404,438,040 euros, representing an increase of 1.13% over the previous.
This growth reached 8.18% in the case of investments, which stood at nearly 31 million euros, to which must be added 20 million euros, due to the possibility of using the remaining cash.
In this way, and considering the provisions in the reports of the municipal intervention and the Economic and Financial Division, all expenses claim says that they are not covered in the budget 2016 adopted last December, yes have relevant appropriations so these reports proposing the rejection by the plenary of the claim.
It remembers that the plenary on 23 December initially approved the Consolidated General Budget for the year 2016, being exposed to the public in the BORM of January 9, for a period of 15 working days.
On 27 January, and on the last day of term, it was presented this claim, which essentially is based on the failure to credit needed for compliance with the obligations due to the local authority, including the municipal contribution for the proposed burial arrival of the AVE to the city of Murcia.
In short, the preparation and processing of the budget of the City of Murcia for 2016 has been adjusted to the legal provisions, not having incurred any cause of complaint under the rules applicable to the municipal budget management.
