Social Rights improves the quality of care to citizens (23/02/2016)

The Department of Social Rights who runs Conchita Ruiz, improves the quality of service to citizens through the appointment service, which provides phone 868 080 300.

Since its launch in 1996, the appointment system has been one of the factors that has contributed to the improvement in the quality of care, the municipal Social Services City of Murcia, provided to citizens of our town .

In 2015 they have treated over 30,000 applications per year.

Another significant data is that during each year, 1 in 5 families in our town go to the municipal social services to require some of its resources and benefits.

As a result of the upturn detected during 2015, both in the number of calls handled and increased waiting time between application and citizen services, they are going to make from next March 1 significant improvements in system appointment to ensure a higher quality of service provided to citizens of the municipality of Murcia, among which are:

· The number of telephone operators increases of 4-6, which significantly reduces the number of redials to be undertaken by citizens to make the appointment.

· The calling hours in three hours on weekdays is extended, with the new schedule from 9:00 to 15: 00h.

· At least two of the telecom operators can take calls in languages ​​other than Castilian.

· In March the appointment system will be enabled by web accessible both on the municipal website and in social services.

· During the period of the contract with the contractor, SELECT STAR, two studies on the degree of user satisfaction with both service appointment as the quality of care received in the municipal social services will be performed.

· The call center has a catalog of urgent matters (completion deadlines for benefits, child neglect, violence, etc.) that will be referred immediately to the Support Center for Social Services for immediate attention form.
