The City recovers the city maps of the nineteenth century (21/02/2016)

Murcia City Council has recovered the plans for the city of the nineteenth century, some documents of great historical and documentary value, to be presented tomorrow Mayor José Ballesta, the Abenarabi building, at 10.30 hours, coinciding with the opening of the Week Huerta de Murcia, to be held from 22 to 28 February.

Specifically, the General Plan of Murcia of June 16, 1896, carried a scale of 1 / 2,500 in ink and watercolor, is divided into two panels of 4x2 meters, which reflected the North and South skyline of Murcia, just as it was in the late nineteenth century.
