The Minister of Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, today participated in planting 700 trees of different native species that Sardinera Association of Murcia has undertaken to join the project 'My company has planted a forest. "

Thus the group compensates for a total of 110 tons of CO2.

The Minister thanked the Association of Murcia Sardinera joining the initiative Corporate Social Responsibility Applied Climate Change (RSCO2), "making it the first festive group that adds to this project."

"Since the regional government are promoting initiatives involving advanced and innovative concept on how to manage environmental policies and sustainable development," said Martinez-Cache.

Planting took place in the Sierra Espuña Regional Park, where he also delivered this entity certificate of environmental offsetting.

The objectives of this initiative are to create coordinated actions within the framework of the social responsibility of companies and institutions, governments and citizens of the Region of Murcia individually and voluntarily to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and compensate those which can not be reduced.
