The City of Murcia, through the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, wants to recognize the cultural work in the field of music, both in terms of teaching and dissemination, are developing the musical associations of the town.

Therefore, the Board has given its approval to the granting of a subsidy Musician Cultural Association The Muses of Guadalupe, musical group Beniaján, Youth Musical Group Cabezo de Torres and Musical Association Bacons Bridge.

Thanks to these cooperation agreements, the four musical associations of the municipality will receive 53,000 euros overall aid and make, each, four concerts or musical performances.

Furthermore and in the same area, the Board of Governors approved spending for the XVII International Festival Murcia Tres Culturas, with more than 310,000 euros;

the XXIX Music Festival Costa Calida (almost 18,000 euros);

the XXVI National Competition of Bands Ciudad de Murcia (over 14,000 euros) and the 49th International Folklore Festival of Mediterranean (over 100,000 euros)
