In this research, the idea that one of the main characteristics of contemporary television drama is the significant presence of violence arises.
Miguel Angel Hernandez analyzed the series The Sopranos, considered one of the pioneers of the new television drama began at the end of 90. In this series, the protagonist uses violence as a tool to achieve their goals.
Therefore, the rapporteur has been interested in the importance of aggression in the story, to see if they work as an element of dressing or otherwise, are related to the main plot.
The longer a doctorate from the Catholic University of Murcia has designed a tool to break the qualities of the violent event, in addition to analyzing each of the sequences of the series The Sopranos.
