The PSOE considers urgent a performance audit in the company Aguas de Murcia (17/02/2016)

José Ignacio Gras argues that transparency and efficiency are key to a public company, "to improve governance to the lowering of the water tariff."

The Municipal Socialist Group considers urgent and urgent internal audit management in the company Aguas de Murcia (Emuasa), "in order to clarify the possible irregularities in transactions related to contracts with certain companies, and taking clear that ultimate goal it is to achieve an efficient management of the municipal water service that guarantees a drop in rates paid by residents without compromising the quality of service. "

This has been revealed on the Jose Ignacio Gras working meeting today with the council Development and Decentralization, Roque Ortiz and Jose Guillen, along with the other representatives of municipal groups present in the Board of Directors of the company.

"We want to carry out an audit that for years our Municipal Group has denounced alleged irregularities and covert privatization Emuasa" said Socialist spokesman, who recalled the complaint to that effect carried out by the Pedro Lopez group Izquierda Unida-Los Verdes in June 2014.

"A doubts about incompatibilities in the functions developed by the management team, allegedly irregular contracts with companies linked to the group must be crystal clear in addition," Gras said.
