Councilman Works, Roque Ortiz, held this morning a meeting with representatives of the works council of Aguas de Murcia, including the Worker spokesperson on the Board of Directors was to explain in detail and firsthand the reorganization that the city wants to promote in the joint venture.
Ortiz noted that this restructuring will not affect the staff of the company since the aim is that the City regain the leadership of this joint venture.
This proposal, which affects the organizational structure of Aguas de Murcia, will be discussed at the next Board of Directors which includes representatives from all local political groups and aims to promote and improve their performance.
This governing body will also consider other measures such as strengthening of control over the organization of Aguas de Murcia, lower water rate and sewer without affecting the quality of service.
Besides other important issues such as improved price efficiency plan on the Service, the review and implementation of the investment plan, specific actions to work in parishes and review of all contracts of society try to ensure transparency in awarding them.
