The Association of Graphic Reporters want to take to the streets of Murcia history in pictures, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary (15/02/2016)

Photojournalists have told the mayor his intention to hold a commemorative exhibition and take to the streets the political, cultural, social and sporting history of the region in pictures, the last quarter century also sought support for a proposed venue and name two streets in memory of the deceased reporters Tito Bernal and Patxi Gomariz

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, met this afternoon with representatives of Association of Graphic Reporters Press Murcia, which this year celebrates its 25 years.

To mark the anniversary, photojournalists have told the mayor his intention to hold a commemorative exhibition and take to the streets political, cultural, social and sporting history of the region in pictures, the last quarter century.

Photojournalists also requested aid for a venue and proposed to name two streets in memory of the deceased reporters Tito Bernal and Patxi Gomariz.

The aim of the Association of Graphic Reporters photojournalism is spreading in the region of Murcia and ensure the rights of professionals, through activities, workshops, exhibitions.

In addition to the mayor and Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, the meeting was attended by the President of the Association, Juan Francisco Moreno, his vice president, Nacho Garcia, and members of the Board Marcial Guillén and Pablo Sanchez.
