The City remedied 25 incidents related to the wind (15/02/2016)

The City Council, through the Department of Administration Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, has remedied 25 wind-related incidents between Sunday and today.

It has also carried out numerous acts of low regard as small fallen branches on the street or driveway.

A specific brigade twelve workers working these days to minimize the effects of gusts of 66 mph in parks, streets and gardens of Murcia and districts.

The City Council has launched the wind alert device through which these special brigades monitor areas where large trees in collaboration with the Local Police and Fire are.

Councilman Jose Guillen recommends Murcia "extremely vigilant when walking near parks and gardens, and buildings with pots or elements that the wind could fall into the street."
