Guadalupe morning hosts the fifth annual festival LupeFolk (01/07/2010)

Guadalupe becomes tomorrow in the folk music scene with the celebration of the V Festival LupeFolk.

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Festival, the organizers have created the brand "Folk by the parishes of the garden of Murcia."

LUPEFOLK Folk festival is a project enthusiast who was born five years ago through the efforts of the youth group Taray Folk, anthropologist and musician Manuel Luna helped by the mayor of the village of Guadalupe and Department of Celebrations of the City of Murcia.

Guadalupe is a town of Murcia orchard over the years has had among its inhabitants a long musical tradition, both string and wind, so in this century and following the evolution of popular music group youth of this town decided to start this musical idea to design and develop the traditional music making new sounds of the third millennium.

Taray folk group, one of the stalwarts of traditional music Murcia, introduced new training and new album.

With the support of regional seal Tres Fronteras (under the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Community of Murcia) the new work has been recorded during the months of July to September 2009, at the "Spring in the Atlas "with the production of Constantino Lopez, one of the most interesting musicians and the music scene Murcia known for his musical work with groups like L'Ham de Foc, Chambao, Civilization Zero and Manuel Luna.

Taray Folkresort bet on the national and international export of the traditional sounds of the southeast peninsula, based on the examples of modernization and reorganization of other countries that have managed to convert their traditional music in true cultural products of international significance.

Folkresort is a play on words and concepts as used comes from the "Golf Resort" as a philosophical and ideological support for building thousands of homes on the Mediterranean coast pillaged.

Folkresort lies a reflection on the progress excessive and reckless, unsustainable development and the cultural uprooting of peoples.

Azarbe is basically defined as a group of folk-inspired popular music ensembles in the southeast Spanish, crews.

Initial components come mostly from the field of traditional music, and therefore fairly well mastered the language of country music strings, and a variety of instruments to interpret.

Azarbe presents the best flamenco de Murcia, next to one of the best folk bands of the moment.

Curro Piñana Azarbe and offer their particular vision of roots music and flamenco singing respectively, to provide a rich complement and careful amalgam of styles that will not leave the viewer indifferent.

Azarbe components are:

- Oscar Esteban: crate, darbouka, bendhir, tambourines and other percussion.

- Peter J.

Lopez: acoustic guitar and guitars.

- Teresa Fernández: voice.

- Emilio J.

Mateos: Spanish lute and guitar.

- Alvaro Martinez, violin and mandolin.

With the special collaboration of Curro Piñana singing, percussionist

Paco Botía, square tambourine, congas, bongos, djembe and other percussion, and Pepe Martinez on bass and accordion.
