| 653 residents of the neighborhood participate in the initiative, of which 394 are women and 259 men | The Governing Board today gave the green light to grant the subsidy, for an amount of 20,000 euros, to the Cepaim Acci n Integral con Migrantes Foundation, for the execution of the Brutop a project , an initiative of the Housing Service whose objective is to provide socio-labor support to the tenants of the 507 municipal homes in the Infante Juan Manuel neighborhood of Murcia. With this project, the Housing Service, in collaboration with Cepaim, promotes processes of citizen coexistence through community intervention focused on participation, inclusion, neighborhood encounter and cohesion Social n between the tenants of the municipally-owned housing in the neighborhood, where families and people who live in a situation of social vulnerability reside. This situation of vulnerability, which has been increased with the pandemic, has led the Housing Service, led by mayor Paqui P rez, to increase attention to the most vulnerable people who have been affected with higher incidence in the area. In this sense, a series of actions are launched in which more than 650 people participate, among which are informative talks on the Minimum Vital Income and support to request it, employment resources, mediation seminars community, information points on various issues, dissemination of the coexistence manual prepared with the participation of neighbors, and various information bulletins, periodic meetings with the neighborhood and public and private entities that intervene in the area, cleaning brigades, among others.
