| José Ballesta presents 'El Belén del Gaya', an initiative that celebrates its seventh edition and which this year has been developed by the Murcian painter Carmen Artigas | The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, presented this morning 'El Belén del Gaya', which this year has been painted by the Murcian artist Carmen Artigas and can be seen on the side façade from the museum, on Calle Santa Isabel, from today until January 17.“For the seventh consecutive year, the Ramón Gaya Museum shows its particular painted Nativity scene, this time the work of Carmen Artigas, doctor in French Philology and Fine Arts scholar, with which she takes us to our childhood memories through eight painted boards in acrylic ”, highlighted José Ballesta during the event.Artists who have shown their particular nativity scenes at the GayaAntonio Ballester, Antonio Martínez Mengual, Nicolás de Maya, Nono García, Rafael Fuster and Eva Mauricio are the artists who have also participated in this initiative in previous years, with their particular painted nativity scenes, which have been exhibited on the side façade of the Ramón Museum Gaya.About the Murcian painter Carmen Artigas Carmen Artigas is a naive style painter, a doctor in French Philology and an academic in Fine Arts, and her work can be found in different museums, public organizations and private collections.
