| The program, aimed at people at risk of social exclusion, will address five areas of action: training and employment, education, care basic, coexistence, participation and promotion; health and housing | During its session today, the Governing Board approved the granting of a grant, for an amount of 20,868 euros, to the Fundación Secretariado Gitano for the launch of the "Socio-community intervention program in the Espinardo Santo neighborhood, in Espinardo.This subsidy, which is formalized at the request of the Municipal Housing Service, led by Paqui Pérez, aims to serve the families that reside in the social housing of the Holy Spirit most affected by the pandemic who are at risk of social and labor exclusion .This intervention is part of the first actions that are being implemented in the neighborhood and that are framed in the comprehensive multidisciplinary intervention plan promoted by the Department of the Elderly, Disability and Development Cooperation and promoted by the Housing Service, in coordination with social services and numerous municipal services.It is a set of cross-cutting actions aimed at the tenants of the municipal houses of the Holy Spirit to improve their quality of life and promote attitudes and values ??of respect and care for the environment and maintenance of the houses.In this sense, the Foundation will carry out this mediation program with the tenant families of the 319 homes located in the Espinardo neighborhood, which it will address taking into account these five areas of action: training and employment, education, basic care, coexistence, participation and promotion; health and housing.
