The language service of the University of Murcia has started this week to take the English level certification exams through the Oxford Test of English.
The first exams were carried out on June 18 and the tests will last until July 8.
The initial forecast is that 80 people will be examined in the eight scheduled calls, organized taking into account all the prevention measures of COVID19. The Oxford Test of Englishes is an official exam certified by the University of Oxford and recognized by the Ministry and Ministries of Education, as well as by Universities throughout Spain and other prestigious institutions such as ACLES and CRUE.
The test is independent of any specific study plan or course, and is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), so it also enjoys external international credibility.
It is a multilevel and adaptive test that certifies levels A2 to B2 in the four competences (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing).
It is 100% online and lasts approximately two hours, with results available in a maximum of 10 business days.
The tasks of the exam replicate the use of the usual language of real life in both social, work and academic settings. Registration for tests is still open.
