| The Commission for Urban Planning, Sustainable Development and Huerta has given the go-ahead to obtaining the land necessary to carry out these works | The Commission for Urban Planning, Sustainable Development and Huerta has definitively approved this morning the project to obtain the necessary land for the execution of the access sidewalk to the CEIP Saavedra Fajardo de Algezares.In order to carry out these works, 30.14 square meters have been acquired through the expropriation system by joint appraisal with a total budget of 14,599.56 euros.This will allow to respond to a demand from the educational community and the residents of the district, expanding the sidewalks of Ramón y Cajal street, which give access to the center.In this way, the school environment will be provided with greater road safety by adapting pedestrian routes, thus guaranteeing the safety and accessibility of schoolchildren.The CEIP Saavedra Fajardo de Algezares is included in the Plan of Works in Educational Centers 2020, which is being developed in a total of 80 public schools in Murcia and districts and is endowed with 2,000,300 euros.
