The eight municipal supply squares (Verónicas, El Carmen, Saavedra Fajardo, Vistabella, San Andrés, La Alberca, Espinardo and Cabezo de Torres) will not provide service on Thursday and Good Friday.
However, the rest of the days of the week, including Saturday the 11th, will remain open during the hours established after the health crisis, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to continue providing service to citizens who work until noon.
They will also open on Tuesday, April 14, which is a working day, since the Bando de la Huerta is not celebrated.
Protection and security measures
The Department of Commerce, Markets and Road has redoubled these days the hygiene-sanitary and security measures in the eight municipal supply squares, reducing their capacity and their accesses;
and supplying hydroalcoholic solutions inside the supply squares.
A minimum 20-centimeter beacon distance has also been established for food displays from the different points of sale to delimit work areas and avoid risks.
In the case of the exhibitors at the fruit, vegetable and fish stalls, the distance is extended to 50 centimeters.
Free home delivery
The eight municipal supply squares that bring together more than a hundred shops, including butchers, greengrocers, fishmongers, delicatessen, salted, smoked, pickled, bakeries, sweets and nuts, among other products, offer a home delivery service for free character.
The orders, even if they are made in different establishments in the market, will be delivered at the same time to the customer's home, always keeping the hygienic-sanitary measures established.
The Department of Commerce, Markets and Public Roads will shortly present a web page that will cover the fresh produce delivery system in order to facilitate online shopping for users.
