The City Council has granted to the Protective Society of Animals and Plants El Cobijo Cañada Hermosa a grant of 13,457.14 euros to continue with its work of protection and adoption of animals.
This is how this morning stood out at the Governing Board, where the expense and the obligation of this association for activities for the promotion of animal welfare have been arranged.
The Department of Sports and Health, directed by Felipe Coello, grants these grants to non-profit associations whose purpose is the protection and responsible trend of animals or who work for the promotion of the adoption of the Municipal Zoonosis Control Center.
The Protective Society of Animals and Plants The Cañada Hermosa Shelter obtained the grant of the call for the year 2019 to which five other associations were presented.
These grants are also intended to help the maintenance or expansion of the facilities of these entities, provided they favor and facilitate the accommodation of animals in order to provide this public service to shelter abandoned or lost animals.
