For the Christmas holidays, the EcoCampus store at the University of Murcia offers users the possibility of making Christmas baskets and gifts with organic products.
This initiative, in order to promote healthy and sustainable consumption also at Christmas, allows consumers to choose from a wide range of local and proximity products that include food and cosmetics made, mostly, by hand in the Region of Murcia .
The benefits obtained in the EcoCampus store go to projects related to the conservation of Agricultural Biodiversity and the adaptation of our agricultural system to climate change.

The place, open since February, is located in the Plaza de la Sostenibilidad of the Espinardo Campus.
Its customer service hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and also Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Home orders can be placed at an additional cost of 2.5 euros or free of charge for equal amounts or more than 40 euros.
This initiative was possible thanks to an agreement between the University of Murcia and the association 'Observatory of Agroecological Innovation against Climate Change' in order to promote the consumption of local, seasonal and organic food among the university community.
It is an action aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations (SDG) that is a commitment to the sustainability of the agri-food system and a commitment to agricultural biodiversity and climate change mitigation.
