The Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the University of Murcia has inaugurated this Wednesday the V National Congress of Methodology of Research in Communication that is held from November 20 to 22 in Murcia.
The meeting was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Research, Francisco Esquembre;
the dean of the faculty, Pedro Hellín;
the president of the Spanish Association of Communication Research, Enrique Bustamante;
and the director of the Congress, Leonarda García Jiménez.
During the day on Wednesday, the conference 'The identity of the media in communication' was held by the professors and doctors at the University of Murcia, María del Mar Grandío and Leonarda García Jiménez.
Afterwards, a round table was held among journalists of recognized national and regional trajectories such as Carmen Caffarel, former president of RTVA;
Lola García, from La Opinion newspaper;
Paulino Ros, of Onda Regional;
and researchers like Maite Gobantes, from UNIR;
and Pilar Garrido, from the University of Murcia.
This event has kicked off three days of congress full of activities, and will feature the participation of national and international experts in Communication research.
