Last night the Municipal Board of Monteagudo was formed from which President David Campoy Sánchez was elected, in an act chaired by the councilor of Pedanías y Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández.
Tomorrow the Municipal Boards of Centro-Este, Barriomar, Cabezo de Torres, El Esparragal and Los Garres will be established.
In this way, the City Council continues with the process of constitution of the 67 municipal boards (including the pedigrees of La Murta and Cañada Hermosa) under the Department of Pedanías and Barrios, which is directed by Marco Antonio Fernández Esteban.
In total 587 people will be part of the municipal boards of these bodies whose main functions are the maintenance, conservation, repair and replacement of infrastructure and municipal buildings.
They also have the powers of promotion and dissemination of sports, social and cultural activities, as well as serve as transmitters of information between the town hall and the neighbors.
