The University of Murcia has presented on Thursday the awards of the 'XIV Short Story Contest Thader Shopping Center-University of Murcia' in an event that has taken place in the gallery of rectors of the Convalescence building.
These awards, organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization together with the Thader shopping center, are aimed at promoting literary activities among UMU students who have been beneficiaries of an international mobility program.
In its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and, specifically, with the number 10 based on the reduction of inequalities, the motto chosen for this edition has been 'Equality: why is it so important?'.
Thus, the stories should be set in the countries where participants are going to make their international stay and go through scenarios of inequality and invite the reader to reflect on what we can do to reduce inequalities.
