The first winner in this category of the contest and today vocalist of the Funambulista group, Diego Cantero, will put the finishing touch to the night of the young Murcian talent.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, today presented the Creamurcia musicians in the category of author song: Crimson, Jorge Bayle and Antonio Serrano, three artists who will measure their talent in the grand final that will take place this Thursday, October 24, at the Teatro Circo, starting at 8:00 p.m., and which will feature the performance of Funambulista as a guest group.
“Creamurcia has become a national platform for Murcian musical talent.
Frontline national pop artists such as Rozalén, Alondra Bentley or Diego Cantero himself, the first winner in this category of the contest and today vocalist of the Funambulista group, have passed through this contest which is a reference in the region's music scene â€, highlighted José Ballesta in the presentation of young people.
Of the 54 artists that have appeared, these three finalists will have half an hour to demonstrate their know-how live.
Tickets are now on sale for 10 euros at the Teatro Circo.
After the proceedings, the technical jury will decide the ruling.
The first prize winner will receive 2,000 euros.
There will also be a second and third prize of 1,000 euros and 500 euros, respectively.
The three artists will be able to perform in the main musical events that are part of the cultural programming of the municipality and will record a CD that will collect the winning songs.
Among the outstanding artists who were awarded in previous editions in the author song category, Diego Cantero (Funambulista), Rozalén, Aarón Sáez (Varry Brava), Raúl Frutos (Crudo Pimento), Alondra Bentley, Road Ramos, Muerdo, Hams stand out with Heels, AA Mama and Rey Lobo.
THE THREE FINALISTS:
JORGE BAYLE
26-year-old Murcian composer who, after his career as a vocalist in The Purple Elephants, now embarks on a solo path defending a proposal of pop in Spanish.
He is currently working with producer Raúl De Lara in what will be his first EP, which will be released in the coming months.
CRIMSON
The Crimson universe (Carmen Molina) is born from disguising its history in the form of songs.
Therefore, the essential component of his music is the emotional charge of his lyrics, narrated in the first person.
Getting the public to relive the precise feeling of each of their themes is their greatest achievement.
This year he received the first prize of the International Contest of Singers of Burgos, in addition to the second prize in the prestigious International Contest of Singers of Elche, as well as the special prize of the public.
Soon he will release his first album, a compilation of intimate songs, this time with full band.
ANTONIO SERRANO
After a period of 6 years in Madrid, acquiring experiences as a musician (singer-songwriter), in 2018 he discovers the city of Granada as a source of knowledge to further develop his facet as a guitarist (flamenco and derivatives).
There he spends a year nourishing himself from Granada's musical culture, both learning in the streets and receiving classes from flamenco teachers.
Now he has taken up the root that germinated everything to convey the artistic development that has sprouted.
His time at Creamurcia has offered him the possibility of experiencing a first contact between the public and the draft of this album project;
A first step in the purpose of financing your musical project.
Aid for rehearsals
