The Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, today held a meeting with some members of the Student Council of the University of Murcia in which various topics such as the Murcia Brand, study rooms or grants have been addressed Erasmus students.
“The Murcia Brand includes Murcia university, as thousands of students choose our city to carry out their higher studies, many of them from other regions of Spain and abroad,” says the councilor.
During the meeting, the extension of the study halls was also discussed, since the mayor values ​​its importance as “social good and for the whole society, including university students”.
Another of the issues that have been put on the table have been Erasmus grants registered in Murcia.
In this way, Mercedes Bernabé has pledged to value it in order to make life easier for students who go outside to study.
Finally, the meeting has resumed the expansion of housing for the university community that comes to Murcia, national and foreign students.
