On Tuesday, October 8, the Hemodonation Center will perform blood extractions at the Catholic University of Murcia on the occasion of Healthy Universities Day.
The academic institution joins again this initiative integrated in the campaign II Challenge of blood donations # RETO5MIL, which aims to reach 5000 donations among all participating universities, and thus help the blood banks of hospitals.
Extractions will take place during the morning, on the first floor of the Temple of the Jeronimos Monastery.
The day is convened by the Spanish Network of Healthy Universities (REUS), to make visible the work done jointly by the institutions of the network.
Since 2016, the UCAM is a member of the Spanish Network of Healthy Universities (REUS), formed by universities throughout Spain, committed to the promotion of health in the university environment, of which the Conference of University Rectors is also part Spanish, the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, and some autonomous Public Health structures.
