The University of Murcia has presented this Friday the awards for the best projects to create a company based on a Final Degree Project or Master's Degree in its fourth edition.
The winning projects have been:
Best project (endowed with 1,500 euros):
'Digital Platform Steaser', by Marco Antonio Torres Suntaxi, student of the Master in Mobile Communication and Digital Content of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation.
It is an online platform for creators of pre-production fiction series seeking financing.
Best project created jointly by two students belonging to different centers (endowed with 1,000 euros):
'Melver', by María García Navarro and Abraham Muñoz Sánchez, students of the degree in Marketing and the degree in Biotechnology, respectively.
The project is focused on the production and communication of melatonin of vegetable origin from purslane.
Best business idea (endowed with 500 euros):
'Training center for electric cars', by Juan Francisco Poma Sinche, student of the degree in Business Administration and Management.
Best innovative project in the technological field / disruptive technology (endowed with 1,000 euros):
'TrazaChain', by José Antonio García García, student of the degree in Computer Science.
The project offers a traceability solution based on blockchain technology adapted to the meat sector.
The act, which has taken place at the UMU Rectorate, has been attended by Juan Antonio Campillo, president of the UMU Social Council;
Alicia Rubio, Vice Chancellor for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society;
Antonio Aragón, director of the Chair of Entrepreneurs of the UMU;
and Juan Samuel Baixauli, secretary of the Evaluation Committee and deputy director of the UMU Chair of Entrepreneurs.
