The City Council will carry out the work of paving sidewalks and roads of Sangonera la Verde in order that pedestrians and drivers circulate with greater safety, while at the same time achieving a better aesthetic and functional aspect more appropriate to the environment of the urban area of the district
These works will be developed in the Camino del Palmeral, natural rise from the hamlet to the Hermitage, whose sidewalks and roads are in poor condition.
The works consist in the replacement and expansion of the existing sidewalks from the intersection of this road with the De la Rambla street to the intersection with the Calle Travesía del Palmeral and the extension of the sidewalk.
This will reduce the width of the two lanes of traffic to 3.25 meters and online parking up to 2.20 meters where there is enough space.
In the projected route the new curb will be executed, the street lighting alignment will be modified and the trees will be planted, specifically Phoenix Daltylifera.
In addition, between Don Quijote Street and Dulcinea Street, the existing pavement will be restored.
The execution period is three months and the investment of 139,880.86 euros.
The project is part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, coordinated by the Department of Pedanías y Barrios, which is managed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
