The Office of Congress of the Department of Tourism of Murcia has presented on Tuesday its services for the organization and celebration of all kinds of meetings to a group of health professionals in the Region through the College of Physicians of the Region of Murcia.
The professional meeting, held at the Post Office Market, aimed to highlight the advantages of the city to host conferences and conferences of national relevance thanks to its communications, its accommodation offer and the venues available for events, among which highlights the Víctor Villegas Auditorium and Congress Center with capacity to host meetings of up to 2,200 attendees.
During the working meeting, a new presentation video of the city has been projected including the new infrastructures, among which the International Airport of the Region of Murcia stands out, as well as the commissioning of the Alvia train in The railway connection with Madrid
The president of Tourism of Murcia Convention Bureau, Ricardo Zamora, has highlighted the importance of these professional meetings that serve to publicize the work of intermediation of the Office of Congresses and has invited the doctors participating in the meeting "to promote the candidacy of Murcia as the seat of the main medical congresses in the country ".
The day also included a guided tour of the Cathedral of Murcia in which they have shown the Chapel of the Vélez, Junterón and the Merklin organ as two examples of the artistic and monumental wealth offered by Murcia to the visitor.
