The dean of the faculty of Economics and Business of the UMU, Samuel Baixauli, and the vice-dean of International Relations, Marcos Antón, visited the Shanghai Jiao Tong University for the promotion of international relations between both institutions.
During those days in Shanghai they have had meetings with the dean of the Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM), Fangruo Chen, the vice-dean of International Relations, Haitao Yin, the staff responsible for the international relations service and the staff responsible for the secretary administrative
The main objective of the visit has been to deepen a signed agreement to establish the details of the academic commitments to be made by students of mobility of both faculties, administrative deadlines for admission, selection and enrollment of students, housing conditions, know the services of the campus and the infrastructures of the faculty.
In addition, the expansion of collaboration channels, the coordination of summer courses and the possibility of launching new joint titles have been explored.
On the other hand, meetings have been held in the commercial office of El Pozo Alimentación of Grupo Fuertes with Alicia Yian to plan the international practices of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UMU.
These practices will be carried out and supervised in the framework of the collaboration activities of the Chair of the Strong Group of Business Excellence of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Murcia.
In addition, a visit was made to Manuel Rubio, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business, at the headquarters of Nike in Greater China in Shanghai to see first hand his experience and how it can help students of Economics and Business the UMU.
Finally, in coordination with the Vice President for Internationalization of the UMU and the International Relations Service, a meeting was held with Qi Hong, Liu Jialin, Mo Xiaoling and Yihan Zhang, representatives of the School of Humanities, to plan the participation of the UMU and the Shaghai Jiao Tong University in the international week of Spain in Shanghai.
