The young participants in the Professional Qualification Program of the groups of Auxiliary activities of Hairdressing and Auxiliary Activities of Aesthetics received their diplomas this morning after having passed the course.
The purpose of this program is to provide training for young people from 16 to 29 years, to provide them with a Professional Qualification level 1 and / or 2, in order to get a first job and thus start their professional future, thus responding to a population that can not be integrated into an ordinary educational program, nor can it enter the labor market by not having a minimum training.
The Program began its activities on September 12 of last year, developing 12 training activities, of which 11 have already been completed. In this period, some 176 young people are being trained in professional certificates of 7 different professional families as Auxiliary Activities of Commerce and Warehouse, Small Business Management Activities, Plumbing Operations and Domestic Heating-Air Conditioning, Auxiliary Aesthetic Services, Auxiliary Hairdressing Services, Hand and Foot Care, Hairdressing, Auxiliary Operations of Mechanical Manufacturing (Welding), Auxiliary Maintenance Operations Vehicle bodies, Vehicle painting, Auxiliary activities in nurseries and gardens and Maintenance of sports facilities
To date, in the 11 training activities that have been completed, 161 young people have been worked on.
66% of the participants (106 young people) will obtain the certificates of professionalism completed and 28 will finish the certificates in September
In addition, agreements have been made with 67 companies in the municipality where 104 students have completed their professional practices.
At the end of the training, 25 students have received job offers.
The main objectives of the Professional Qualification Program are:
Job placement, training young people to get a Level 1 and / or 2 Professional Certificate, giving them the option to acquire professional skills that facilitate their entry into the labor market.
These Certificates are included in the National Catalog of Professional Qualifications and include training practices in companies.
Improve your Basic Training to obtain Linguistic, Mathematics, and Level 2 and / or 3 Language Competences, through the tests called by the SEF, which will allow them access to Level 2 and / or 3 Professional Certificates of any professional family, as well as the one of preparation for the presentation to the test of obtaining the Certificate in ESO and / or Middle Grade.
Training in personal skills acquiring social skills that serve as personal development to develop in the social and work environment, educating in healthy habits, values, equality between men and women, improving self-esteem and promoting responsible use of information technologies and communication.
