The City Council will carry out the necessary work to install shading pergolas in the schools of Puebla de Soto, San Pío X and El Bojar.
These projects are part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, coordinated by the Department of Pedanías, Participación y Descentralización, which is managed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
In the three centers there is an open sports court for the use of the most frequent sports such as indoor football, basketball, minibasket and volleyball, which can not be used on rainy days or excessive heat.
Therefore, the courtyards of these schools will be equipped with roofs that prevent the entry of rainwater and provide shade in such a way that it can be used every day of the year.
The solutions adopted are based on a structural design adapted to sports surfaces that will allow the installation of an architecture that combines aesthetics, beauty and functionality.
Thus, the pergola of Puebla de Soto will have an area of ​​725 m2, that of San Pío X of 1,320 m2 and that of El Bojar of 1,400 m2.
In addition, in these last two schools will be created an independent access, direct from the public road, so that the campus can be used independently of the school.
The maximum price of all these works amounts to 717,778 euros and the execution period of all works is 3 months
