The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, received this morning at the Roundabout Juan Servando, 'The Low Battery Man', who is traveling the country in a van to make visible the more than 100,000 people suffering from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
The route, which will take place in 20 days, began yesterday, Monday, in his native Navarrés, and today Servando travels the distance between Alicante and Almeria making a stop in Murcia.
This chronic and little-known disease affects the brain and the nervous, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and immune systems, caused in 80% of cases by viruses or bacteria and whose main consequence is deep fatigue that does not heal with rest.
Servando's trip can be followed on his website, www.lowbatteryman.com
