9 School Choirs put the soundtrack to the Great Christmas Tree (15/12/2018)

School Choir Recitals are putting the soundtrack of Christmas to the Big Tree.

In total, 9 choirs that belong to the Cantemos Program, of the School Choir Network of the Region of Murcia, meet every day at 6:30 p.m. in the Plaza Circular.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached.

The Department of Pedanías, Participation and Decentralization, directed by Marco Antonio Fernández, in collaboration with the Department of Modernization of Urban Administration and Development, chaired by José Guillén, has carried out this initiative, in which primary school, high school and baccalaureate can show all their talent before the hundreds of attendees who meet every day in the Plaza Circular to enjoy all the activities and events scheduled.

The Virgen de Nuestra Señora de Cortes de Nonduermas Children's Choir and the CEIP La Arboleda Children's Choir have already performed.

On Monday the CEIP Santiago el Mayor will be on the tree, on Tuesday the 18th it will be the turn of the CEIP Luis Costa Children's Choir, on Wednesday the 19th the IES Aljada Choir will perform, on Thursday the 20th the Cristo Crucificado Villa Pilar Choir will be on stage, the Wednesday 26 will sing the IES Beniaján Choir, Friday 28 will be the choir of the IES Alfonso X Choir and will close the festivities on Thursday 3, the Salvador Sandoval IES Choir.

Workshops on the Great Christmas Tree

The City of Murcia has also scheduled half a hundred children's workshops and a total of 24 concerts that will turn the Great Tree of the Circular Plaza into the epicenter of Christmas Murcia.

All the audiovisual shows will take place until January 6, at 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

The workshops (all free) will last from Thursday, December 6 until January 5, from 11.30 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 7.30 pm.

These are workshops and activities 'Made in Murcia', as they revolve around promoting and promoting Murcian Christmas traditions among Murcian children.

Schools from different districts of Murcia will visit the Tree during the holidays.
