The rector of the University of Murcia, José Luján, and his government team received this Friday the new board of directors of the Student Council (CEUM), which was elected in a vote held last Wednesday.
The event, which took place in the gallery of rectors of the Convalecencia, has also served as a tribute and farewell to the outgoing team.
Borja Moreno Buendía is the new president of CEUM, with a term of one year and replaces Francisco Alonso Alcalde.
During his speech, Borja Moreno, a student of the degree in Sociology, has shown his willingness to work with the rectoral team to solve the issues that concern the students.
For his part, the rector, who has appreciated the work and time spent to improve the University by the outgoing team, has assured that the work of CEUM is very necessary "because the students are the raison d'être of the University and yours. voice is important to help make the institution bigger. "
He has also asked them to encourage among their peers "the feeling of belonging to the University of Murcia"
The board of directors that will accompany Borja Moreno in his mandate is formed by: José Miguel Rojo Martínez, general secretary;
Irene Martínez Forte, vice president;
Miguel García Lajarín, Vice President of Communication and Training, Javier González Balibrea, Vice President of Quality and Health Sciences;
Encarnación Campuzano Ríos, vice president of Equality and Diversity;
Miguel Ángel García García, treasurer.
