The University of Murcia and the company Primafrio have signed a general protocol of action that will allow the joint work of both institutions in research, training, dissemination and technological development of aspects related to road transport.
The signature of this agreement, which has taken place at the Primafrio headquarters, will involve the joint financing of studies and research projects, the development of training courses on different aspects related to the activities related to the scope of Primafrio and the realization of student practices of the UMU in the company, among other issues.
The CEO of Grupo Primafrio, Juan Conesa Alcaraz, has indicated that "with this important agreement, the commitment that Primafrio maintains with training and research in the logistics sector is strengthened".
For his part, the rector, José Luján, has pointed out that "the support of a company like Primafrio, with an experience of more than 50 years, opens the possibilities to deepen the progress towards a technological development with a direct impact on the improvement of road transport ".
During the visit to the facilities of the company which has also attended the Vice Chancellor of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society, Alicia Rubio, the CEO of the Primafrio Group has shown attendees the advances in technology and services with which is equipped the headquarters, such as live tracking tracking equipment for monitoring and constant control of the position, consumption, driving times, emissions and temperature of the truck fleet.
