During the month of November, under the motto "Together we add", the workers of Cespa Urban Services of Murcia have returned to demonstrate their solidarity by providing food in all offices and work centers of the cleaning service
The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, delivered this morning to Bonifacio Fernández, president of the Food Bank of Segura, the more than 915 kilograms of food collected by the workers of the cleaning and waste management service of the Ferrovial Servicios concessionaire company.
The event was also attended by Antonio Igualada, director of Cespa Urban Services of Murcia, and Antonio Lax, chairman of the company committee of the cleaning and waste management service.
During the month of November, all the offices and work centers of the cleaning service had containers available so that the employees of the concessionaire company could collaborate and show their solidarity.
The personnel of the cleaning and waste management service donated more than 870 kilos of food last year, in total the employees donated 435 kilos and the company made a complementary donation consisting of equaling the amount of kilos collected by their workers.
So previously, Ferrovial Services contacted the Food Bank to check the needs of that time and completing the donation of food, consisting of milk, canned fish and vegetables, and oil, which will be distributed among the families of Murcia most in need
"In this way we help those who need it most on such important dates but we also remember that this work is done 365 days a year and it is just as important, or more, to donate non-perishable food. better, more supportive and raise awareness about the importance of helping those who need it the most "said Rebeca Pérez.
